Sullivans Cove American Oak ex-Bourbon Single Cask TD0327 is a beautifully balanced Tasmanian single malt that highlights the elegance of long-term maturation in American oak. Distilled in June 2008 and matured for 15 years in a single 200L first-fill American oak ex-bourbon cask, this whisky was decanted in December 2023 and bottled at 47.6% ABV. With only 193 bottles produced, TD0327 offers a rare insight into the distillery’s most awarded and esteemed style, showcasing layers of vanilla, caramel, coconut, fruit, and delicate florals.

Nose: Soft, creamy, and vibrant with vanilla, warm pastry, buttery shortbread, and biscuity richness. Fruity confections mingle with lemon-lime bitters, citrus zest, jasmine green tea, and lemon sherbet. Subtle cantaloupe and fresh floral essences highlight the spirit’s signature citrus character.
Palate: Thick and indulgent, unfolding with green tea, Minties, mango milkshake, and exotic dragon fruit. Black pepper spice balances with wafers, cherries, honey, and condensed milk for depth and playfulness.
Finish: Robust and creamy, lingering with cherry pits, nutmeg, mango ice cream bar, and velvety vanilla custard. Tangy lemon tart, mandarin, and fresh orange juice shine through, closing with a decadent flourish of white chocolate.
