The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured for 14 years in traditional oak casks before finishing in Caribbean rum barrels.
Nose: Toffee, fresh fruit, vanilla, tropical notes, and brown sugar.
Palate: Ripe pineapple and mango with layers of toffee, vanilla, and gentle spice.
Finish: Long, warming, and fruity, with lingering caramel and soft spice.
The Balvenie remains one of the few distilleries to uphold traditional craftsmanship. It grows its own barley, maintains traditional floor maltings, and employs an in-house Coppersmith and team of Coopers. In addition, The Balvenie is widely respected for cask finishing, especially in rum, sherry, and port barrels. These practices create layered single malts defined by honeyed sweetness and rich fruit character.
