The Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage 2015 is the 67th vintage released by the house, notable for being the first harvest in their history where the wines were aged in large oak foudres to enhance complexity. The 2015 growing season was defined by a scorching summer with exceptional sunshine, resulting in grapes with high sugar levels and a concentrated, powerful character. Comprised of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and 20% Meunier, this expression is celebrated for its tension and "gourmand" profile, offering a more structured and vinous experience than previous years. It represents a modern shift for the maison, blending their traditional Pinot Noir-driven strength with a new layer of spicy, toasted depth from the oak maturation.
