Kujira is a Ryukyu (Okinawa) whisky brand from Masahiro Distillery, made from 100% indica rice and native black koji. The 10‑year-old expression is aged in white oak virgin casks under Okinawa’s warm, humid climate, giving it sweet butter‑caramel notes with spices and a long, balanced finish.
This whisky stands out from traditional grain whiskies, as its rice-based fermentation with black Koji yeast introduces a distinctive umami depth.
