The 2023 Penfolds Bin 138 is a rich and aromatic tribute to the traditional blends of the Southern Rhône, crafted from old-vine Barossa Valley fruit. This vintage is characterised by its vibrant fruit profile of tangy rhubarb, pomegranate, and red currant, balanced by savoury notes of green pepper and Barossa black pudding. Matured in seasoned oak to highlight varietal purity, the wine offers a medium-to-full body with feathered tannins and a clean, vivacious acidity. While it provides generous fruit richness for immediate enjoyment, its balanced structure ensures it will develop beautiful savoury complexity over the next decade.
