Guyana's Port Mourant and Diamond stills produce some of the most pungent, funk-forward spirit in the world, and this high ester expression doesn't apologise for it — think ripe banana, molasses, and a wallop of tropical fruit that borders on aggressive. Not a sipping rum for the faint-hearted, and exceptional in a daiquiri or Jamaican-style punch where it can actually flex. If you've found yourself wanting more from your rum shelf than "smooth and easy," this is it.
