Rockburn's Pinot Gris comes from its own vineyard on the Gibbston Back Road — one of only two vineyard sites the estate owns, alongside its Parkburn property in the Cromwell Basin — giving this wine genuine, traceable single-source character. Grapes are hand harvested in the early morning and quickly returned to the winery for small-batch fermentation, with a portion of the wine subtly aged in older French oak specifically to add texture and weight without overwhelming the fruit's natural aromatics.
