El Dorado 25YO Grand Special Reserve was released to mark the turn of the millennium and remains one of Demerara rum's benchmark age statements. Guyana's tropical climate accelerates maturation, giving 25 years in the barrel a depth that would take considerably longer in cooler climates. An after-dinner rum, meant for sipping slowly. 700mL, 40% ABV.

El Dorado is produced by Demerara Distillers in Guyana and is celebrated for its use of historic wooden stills and traditional production methods. The brand is globally recognised for crafting some of the finest aged rums with exceptional depth and character.
A genuine milestone release, not a re-badged standard rum. Made specifically to mark 2000, and priced and positioned accordingly.
Tropical ageing does the heavy lifting. Demerara's climate means 25 years here carries weight you'd associate with a much older spirit elsewhere.
The rum equivalent of an old cognac. If you're buying to impress or to mark an occasion, this is the bottle that does it.
