El Dorado Single Still Enmore Cask Strength is distilled on the Edward Henry Porter (EHP) wooden continuous Coffey still — the last of its kind still operating anywhere in the world. Aged 12 years in oak and bottled at cask strength, this 2009 vintage shows butterscotch, roasted coconut, and apple on the nose, moving into baked peach and coconut with a smoky cedar finish.

El Dorado is produced by Demerara Distillers in Guyana and is celebrated for its use of historic wooden stills and traditional production methods. The brand is globally recognised for crafting some of the finest aged rums with exceptional depth and character.
This is a single-still rum — the output of one specific still, not a blend across Demerara Distillers' range. That makes the still itself the story: the EHP wooden Coffey still is the only one of its kind still in operation anywhere, so this rum's character can't be replicated by any other distillery. It's bottled at cask strength rather than diluted to a standard proof, built for drinkers who want the still's output as directly as possible — neat, or opened up with a small amount of water.
