This is G4 Blanco with some time in a barrel, and less of a personality change than most reposados manage.

The base is the same: highland agave, stone-oven cooked, tahona crushed, distilled with rainwater at Felipe Camarena’s El Pandillo distillery. It’s then rested in ex-bourbon barrels. The oak adds vanilla and caramel and smooths the edges, while the pepper and citrus from the Blanco stay in view.

If you find blancos a bit sharp and añejos a bit oaky, this sits in the middle on purpose.
