Mortlach 12 Year Old Single Malt is a distinguished whisky from the renowned Mortlach Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Known for its robust and complex character, this expression is affectionately called “The Wee Witchie,” a nod to the distillery’s unique distillation process and rich heritage. Established in 1823, Mortlach is celebrated for its dedication to traditional methods, particularly its distinctive 2.81 distillation process—a complex system of partial triple distillation that gives the whisky its rich, meaty character.

Aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, Mortlach 12 Year Old offers a rich and varied flavour profile. The sherry casks impart sweetness and depth, while the bourbon casks add notes of vanilla and spice.
