Shifting away from standard core allocations, this rare centennial edition showcases a highly technical, hand-selected blend of malt whiskies that have rested for a minimum of eighteen years across various cask formats. The liquid highlights Hakushu’s unique smoky character, which benefits from the exceptionally pure, soft snowmelt water of the Southern Japanese Alps, filtered naturally over decades through ancient mountain granite. Presented at a more commanding strength of 48% ABV—notably higher than the standard edition's 43% format—the bottle comes enclosed in a custom dark green commemorative forest-themed presentation box
