Kujira Ryukyu 5 Year Old is a unique Japanese single grain whisky, made from 100% long grain Indica rice and aged for five years in sherry casks. Produced in Okinawa Prefecture, this whisky diverges from traditional malt expressions, offering a smooth, well-rounded character with a distinctive balance of sweetness and spice. The use of black Koji yeast, a technique rooted in Okinawan distilling, adds depth and umami richness, setting this whisky apart.
