Crafted at the Indri Distillery, near the Himalayan foothills in Haryana, India, Indri Drú is a bold cask strength expression showcasing the rich depth of Indian single malt whisky. Named after the Sanskrit word for the five senses, this whisky is made from traditional six-row Indian barley, grown using organic and sustainable farming methods. Though lower in yield, this barley imparts a distinctively fruity and floral character. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, Indri Drú delivers an intense and full-bodied experience.
Nose: Aromas of ripe fruits, vanilla, citrus, gentle spice, chocolate, and honey.
Palate: Rich and bold, with notes of ripe fruit, soft spice, sweet vanilla, chocolate, and citrus.
Finish: Fairly long and full-bodied.
Indri is an Indian single malt whisky brand from Piccadily Distilleries in Haryana. The Dru Cask Strength expression is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 57.2% ABV, highlighting rich oak, fruit, vanilla, and warm spice notes.
